QR codes and interactive trails introduction
It is now possible to provide access to trails using QR codes. This is an added option for societies providing printed copies to the venue.
The QR code can be put on to a poster for display at the venue. If you wish to consider this, please contact Pauline Stewart at trails@theartssociety.org for further information. The QR code provides a link to the trail.
A number of QR code posters are included in this section. The QR codes are live and using a QR code reader app the trail can be viewed by download to a smart phone or tablet.
A poster template and guidelines for use are included under the menu heading QR Code Poster Template.
Making trails interactive enables them to be downloaded and completed on a mobile device. Click on the Plymouth Hoe Trail poster in the next section under this heading (QR CODE POSTERS) to view an interactive town trail that can be easily completed on a mobile phone or tablet device. This type of trail requires a modified approach to questions and particularly answers which have to be multi-choice. Before starting to create a trail in this format, please contact Pauline Stewart at trails@theartssociety.org
